Corner Tactics

Corner Tactics is a Buffalo, New York studio devoted to chess as sculpture. We design, print, finish, and ship resin chess sets that honor history, mythology, and imagination — from ancient Egypt to medieval fortresses, dragons, and worlds beyond our own.

Every collection begins with character: silhouette, texture, and color that read clearly on the board and on the shelf. We work in high-quality resin, assemble and finish each set by hand, and ship from the United States.

What we make

Our catalog focuses on complete piece sets (boards sold separately unless noted). Many sets offer multiple colorways so you can match an existing board or build a display piece that is entirely your own.
